WatchingLog is being built for people who do more than finish a film or episode and move on. We want a place where the title, the reaction, and the conversation can stay connected—across both movies and television.

Why build another tracking app?

Tracking a movie and tracking a series are related, but they are not the same habit. A film is often one complete experience. A show can unfold across seasons, episodes, gaps between releases, and conversations that need careful spoiler boundaries. WatchingLog is designed around both rhythms.

The goal is not to replace every service people already use. It is to make a personal viewing history more useful and social: a record of what you watched, what you thought, and which recommendations came from people whose taste you understand.

What WatchingLog is building

  • Movie and TV logging, ratings, and written reviews.
  • Watch history and personal collections that reflect a viewer’s taste.
  • Show Capsule, for following episode-by-episode progress and reactions.
  • Spoiler-aware title discussions, so people can choose when to reveal details.
  • Connect, an opt-in way to discover people with overlapping entertainment taste.
  • Human-curated bundles and personalized discovery paths for deciding what to watch next.

Where the product is today

WatchingLog is in beta. The public website describes the product direction and the beta registration link is the appropriate way to request access. We will update this article as availability, platforms, and feature scope become more concrete.

Who may find it useful

WatchingLog is for movie lovers, television fans, people who want to remember what they watched, and viewers who value thoughtful recommendations over a generic feed. It is especially useful for people who want their films and shows in one viewing identity without treating every episode as an afterthought.
